Kent Digital Meetup Maidstone was held this February at the Market House in Maidstone's town centre.

The event had a fantastic turnout and offered attendees the opportunity to network with others involved in digital and learn something new over drinks and snacks.

Lauren Bennett gave a great talk on "How I sold 4 homes with a dinner party and social media!"

Lauren who founded Evoke Media, shared take away on the power of social media and how to get your social media to effectively give your other marketing or communications efforts a boost. She shared her experience and ideas to help others get more out of their social media strategy.

Reflect Digital’s very own Joanna Earle then gave an insightful talk on "PR - How to get your business noticed in 2019!"

Jo had been a journalist for over 10 years at various newsrooms across the UK (ITV News, ITV Meridian, assistant news editor at Channel 5 News, KentOnline and kmfm). In her talk, she shared her top tips on how to get your company heard and noticed by journalists!

The talks sparked a fantastic Q&A session in which all of the audience got involved, there were some very interesting and certainly valuable discussions.

The next talk will be held on Tuesday 26th March, when Rich Brassett, the design brains behind Long Live King, a London web app agency, will be talking about "The Wonderful Web. A look at the present, the progression and the potential." And Reflect Digital's Gemma Kane discussing "Getting the best ROI from your existing data - the tools are out there."
